It seems like another world now, but in early March last year we had our very first UK book tour to support the launch of the Jaguar Stones series in the UK.
Ever since the Maya was added to the UK curriculum schools in Britain have been using Middleworld as a text to introduce their students to the Maya. We've been Skyping with UK schools for a while, but this is our first opportunity to visit schools in person. We did presentations in ten schools in Yorkshire, Cumbria, Lincolnshire, Essex, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, and Wiltshire. We had a blast with the students. And we were absolutely blown away by the quality of their work and the amazing teachers. Here's a little taste.
